The Police at Wamatovu in Katende, along the Masaka- Kampala highway on April 17, (Easter Sunday) registered a fatal accident that involved motor vehicle No. UBBW 288W a fuso box, a Bajaj boxer No. UDG 002S and a premio No. UAV 137E that claimed lives of four people.
Faridah Nampiima the Traffic police Spokesperson has revealed on the matter that the deceased yet to be identified include one female adult, one female juvenile and two male adults including the rider.
Three unknown victims were rushed to various unknown clinics for medical attention.
She says Investigations are underway to establish what caused the accident and the involved motorcycle and the premio have been towed and parked at Mpigi Police station as efforts to remove the Fuso box body that is loaded with cement is underway.
Police continues to appeal to all drivers and road users traveling from upcountry back from Easter Holidays to drive with discipline on the road.
