Hosting “public figures” on television especially on entertainment shows has become a new normal. The so called are infuencers come in to broaden a given topic of discussion through sharing their opinions.
Among the people usually hosted is Kaye Wisdom popular for speaking on top of his voice, Full Figure, promoter Bajjo and blogger Isma Olexas aka Ichuli.
The new normal has been trashed by celebrated Musician Alex Bagonza aka Apass as he said that in doing so, media is creating stupid celebrities.
” TV and media has created stupid Celebrities, people get recognized for being stupid and for doing nothing butUgandan talk nonsense and it’s funny how some of you look at these people as role models. Role models for what!!!” He shared on his social media
By the look of things, the new normal has always been disliked though none has ever come out to say a thing.
