Singer Ibrahim Mayanja a.k.a. Big Eye has pleaded with music events promoters to consider him for stage performances. This follows the financial constraints that the general elections and the Covid-19 pandemic left.

Two years ago, angry fans pelted the singer with bottles during a performance at Spice Diana’s Freedom City concert due to political differences. Since then, music promoters have been hesitant to hire him for stage performances.
However, on a national television show, Big Eye stated that politics had ended and that it was now time for other people’s businesses, and that people should not carry their guns.
“Politics ended, it’s now time for music. Let them leave me alone and I do my job. Promoters are still scared that I may get attacked with bottles on stage,” He pleaded.
“People have been saying on social media that shows have been allowed but for them, they haven’t allowed me to stage any shows. People are posting pictures of very many bottles,” Big Eye added.
He was peltted by National Unity Platform political party supporters since he is a National Restistence Movement (NRM) supporter.
