Small island Comoros gave nightmares to four times African Champions Ghana in a 3-2 win that evicted the 10 men squad out of AFCON.
Comoros teased Ghana as early as the first half with a strike from El Fardou Ben Mohammed. As minutes ate into the mid-twenties, Ghanaian striker Dede Ayew was sent off the pitch after his bout touched Comoros’ keeper.

The ten men received another blow when Comoros’ Ahmed Mogni made it 2-0 as Ghana continued to wail.
It was “all hail Ghana” when it came to resurrection with Richmond Boakye and Alexander Djiku’s goals that made it 2-2. The hails received a shutup after Comoros’ Ahmed Mogni sealed hopes for Ghana with an 85th-minute goal that made it 3-2 for the Islanders.
Ghana sits at the bottom of Group C with one point as Morocco leads the table with 7 points, after which Gabon comes second with 5 points and Comoros in third place with 3 points.
