Doctors have issued a warning to the government telling them not to delay their pay ride as was promised after the stand down strike last year.
According to the President of the Uganda Medical Association(UMA), Dr. Samuel Odongo Oledo, the government had promised to work on their payment increment but this was not death up. They have even learnt that the budget for the increment was not submitted for approval.

Last year, these refused to go to work and many Ugandans were affected in the course. The government instead brought in Cuban doctors but later knelt before the demands of the doctors.
