Everton has confirmed sacking their manager Rafa Benitez who has spent only six months. This came after the English club lost 2-1 to bottom warmer Norwich city in the English Premier League (EPL).
Everton’s 2-1 loss helped praise the executive body of the team which eventually let him go.
According to reports, the loss raised mixed reactions from fans that kicked off the sacking campaign. He was hired last year as the club’s manager but has not been as productive as expected. In the last 13 matches, the former Liverpool manager has won only one match.
Several managers are expected to take on the job with the likes of Jose Mourinho, Wayne Rooney, and Michael Carrick all lining up for it.
