Uganda Police has Earlier today arrested four Forum for Democratic change (FDC) activists over holding an “illegal” Press Conference.

The arrested are Buwembo Habib,Kawoya Sharif a.k.a Kajambiya , Mathias Ssevuma and Matanda and they are behind bars for criticising government’s
discriminatory situation of the lock down and calling for the end of it.
“The poor are under lockdown but the Rich are moving” Buwembo during the conference.
According to the activists, they are not happy with the way government is handling this lockdown where rich people are allowed to move after “paying” something to police .
Habib and his colleagues were holding this press conference in areas of kabowa_Rubaga Kampala suburb
It should be remembered that earlier this week former forum For Democratic change president Dr. Kizza Besigye gave out measures on how this government can handle this pademic and let citizens go back to their work or else they defy it.
“Protect the vulnerable by isolate them, vaccinate people, teach citizens to observe SOPs , remove Lockdown or with in one week we are going to protest and impose this discriminatory lockdown,” Besigye had earlier noted.

They are also not happy with the away government has shared 100000/= covid19 relief where over 90% of the population hasn’t received a single coin.
Buwembo and colleagues are currently detained at Nateete police station.
