Uganda’s gospel sensation Exodus (George Timothy Lubega) has, at last, bowed to self-pressure and guilt, after he publicly announced that he had been swallowed by the spirit of alcohol.

This was during Pastor Wilson Bugembe’s concert dubbed “Mukama wabanaku” which was held over the weekend.
The “addicted” singer broke down in tears as he opened up a vice that had eaten him into the world of sin. Talking to her fans, he said he is a human being like any other person and therefore prone to mistakes. He asked them to forgive him and give him a second chance as well as prayers.
“Very many people wonder where I have been and what I have been up to. I fell back and started drinking alcohol but I promise I will never return to bars again,” Exodus said in tears.
He is known for Nyinimu, tosumagira, prophesy, and many other hit songs that rocked the gospel fraternity in the country.
