Ugandan music diva Sheebah Kalungi has revealed that she is one of those people that tried so hard to see the Uganda Musicians Association UMA elections canceled because she thought that these had been rigged.

The “beera nange” hitmaker told journalists yesterday that on the voting day, those that were voting for King Saha got network issues yet those that voted for Cindy were using the system smoothly.
“I was one of the people that were on phone all day to make sure that those elections are canceled because I never thought they were transparent. Why would you say that when you vote it’s okay but when King Saha’s side votes, there is a problem in the system?” She wondered.
She asked the electoral committee to let the artists organize a concert to raise funds for physical elections.
“If it needs to make a concert to raise funds for it, let them tell us and we raise the funds. We need physical elections where ballot papers are cast.” She said.
Hinting at why she supports she supports King Saha, not Cindy is because Saha approached him yet Cindy did not. She cited the fact that Cindy does not talk to her.
“We want a leader that talks to us, who brings us together and can do something. We don’t need a leader that doesn’t talk to those she leads.” She said, in reignition of her beef with Cindy.
