On Wednesday 23, Ugandan Satirical novelist Kakwenza Rukirabashaija successfully reached Germany for his treatment as revealed by his Lawyer.

Upon reaching in Germany, the award winning novelist revealed, in an interview with DW news revealed that leaving Uganda was like escaping the mouth of the crocodile.
“The mere fact that I have arrived in Germany, I feel like I have escaped the mouth of the crocodile. I really feel safe,” He revealed
“Because I felt like I was a barer in my own country, I felt like they had deprived me of my citizenship and I had to look for where I am wanted, where I am needed so I decided to flee the country to look for a breath where I am needed, where I am loved.” He added
The thirty three year old who sneaked out of the country two weeks ago through Rwanda had spent nearly a month in jail for criticising President Museveni and the first son Gen. Muhoozi.
Kakwenza also revealed that he will be back immediately the doctor says he is fit to join the struggle.
“Uganda is my country, is my mother land so they can not suffocate me so. I think after getting medication and the doctor telling me that I am fit for joining the struggle, I will go back to my country. I am not fine but I am unstoppable.” He said
He promised to continue writing from where he is.
