Jacobs Oulanya has won the Speakership race for the 11th parliament.
The new parliamentary speaker has triumphed with 310 votes beating hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga who came out of the race with 197 votes and Hon. Ibrahim Ssemuju Nganda who got 15 votes.
Oulanya is replacing hon. Rebecca Kadaga who has been the speaker of the parliament of Uganda since May, 19, 2011
