While speaking to the congregation in the thanks giving service of Kamwezi Primary School that was held in St. James Buhangizi Church of Uganda Archdeaconary, Annet Kanduhukye Tusiime the headteacher, explained that they planned for a thanksgiving to upgrade the standard of the School after having a gigantic number of pupils than how it was before from where the School has failed to accommodate fully.

She further said that the School has over 640 pupils which made them to study in sorry-stated classrooms where she believed after this School renovation shall assist them to acquire quality education in a condusive environment.
While preaching in the thanksgiving service Ven. Norman Twakyiire the Buhangizi Church of Uganda Archdeacon revealed that he toured Kamweezi Primary School and what he established was only frustrations hence calling upon the public to render support to put it on board such that Kamweezi Primary School may be put on its former standards.
Jackline Tukamushaba while representing old Boys and Girls of Kamweezi Primary School said that they waited for the government to intervene in the school situation but all was unsuccessful which prompted them as old pupils to organize the thanksgiving and the little corrected be used as a start-up point of renovation as they are waiting for a fundraising function that is possibly scheduled to happen in December.
She further contributed 500,000= shillings towards the school renovation activities and again pledged a generator to St. James Buhangizi Church of Uganda Archdeacon in Kamwezi Sub-county Rukiga District for smooth running of church activities.
Kamweezi primary school was founded in 1945 under church of Uganda foundation though its government aided school with over 640 pupils. Over 3 million Ugandan shillings cash and 15 bags of cement were solicited on Sunday 12th June 2022 in a thanksgiving service in Buhangizi Archdeacon towards the renovation of Kamweezi primary school.
