Ugandan dancehall female sensation Kapa Cat(Catherine Tumusiime) known for her song called “sikyo” was involved in a motor-accident yesterday as she came back from a performance.
The singer’s car fell into a trench that had not been seen by her manager, who was driving along a dusty road. She narrated that the driver could not see the trench because an overspending bus had raised dust.
“We were on a marram road and as you know these buses which run so fast, they raised dust and the manager could not see, yet we were in a corner. So we ended up falling in a trench.” She narrated.
The singer was injured on the face and the leg. She however assured her fans that she was going to be fine.
“I am now fine and safe. Thank you for the prayers. I am sure that the doctors will do their best. I have been examed and they found out that my ligament was injured but I hope I will be okay,” she said.
The singer rose to fame during the lockdown and has since grown up to become another Cardi B, who doesn’t care about public opinion.
