Child singer Kapiripiti also known as omubaya(Muhammad Mukoza) was chased from school days ago from school over influencing the pupils into dancing at a general school assembly.
The singer rallied a group of pupils into a dance when the administrators had gone for a meeting to decide on how they would conduct the assembly. They sang and danced alongside King Saha’s “Zakayo”.
Well, the singer has apologized for his misconduct and asked the school administration and public to forgive him and guide him whenever he is in wrong.
“I am sorry that I never thought it would stretch to such a magnitude because I thought it was just fan. I saw my friends very bored while waiting for the teachers and I wanted to entertain them since I am the entertainment prefect. I request the administration to forgive me and my group for this behavior and guide us on what to do in life.” He said.
The school released a statement of dismissal days ago, to inform the public that the music star and his group had been dismissed.
“They have led other pupils into dancing while on assembly. Our prefects were the ones controlling the assembly because all the staff members were in a meeting. So Kapiripiti and five friends disobeyed the prefects and decided to mislead others, which is against our school rules and regulations,” part of the letter reads.
The singer competes with the likes of Fresh Daddy and Felista Di Superstar in the category of child singers.
