Soft-voiced singer Maurice Kirya has put in the spot, all artists that do not give rest to their mouths but keep talking about fellow artists.
In a post he put up yesterday, the singer revealed that he had learned of some particular artists whose work is to blackmail others yet they have not much to show.
“Some of the most talented artists I know in Uganda spend ost of their time gossiping about other artists and how they think they are better than them, instead of getting in-studio and putting their talent to work,” he wrote
He added that they should stop wasting time discouraging others but mind their businesses.
“So this goes to you talented artists, if you think you’re good, be about it, stop trying o discourage artists that are actually doing the work and putting it out there, they are brave and they’re their dreams.”
The discussion of fellow artists pouring cold words on the careers of fellow artists has not started now, it 2007, the camps of Gagamel and Firebase were against one another and each of them poured cold water on the opposite side.
