The prestigious Meet Carnival that leaves Kampalians licking their fingers could leave the “Basheshe” in Mbarara speechless after some event organizers in the city that is located in Western Uganda announced that they would host it in the coming month.
The carnival whose slogan is “enyama yoona”, translated to “all sorts of meat” is slated for 7th August this year and will take place at Nkore Pace in Mbarara.
Revelers in Mbarara are already polishing their shoes gearing up for the party where the nose and the tongue will be at their best use.
However, meet Carnivals have had critics from the pork-selling business people who think that they have been isolated because most organizers of such carnivals do not invite them for fear that Muslims will not attend.
