The Minister of State for gender and Culture, Peace Mutuuzo has hailed fashionistas in Uganda for promoting Buy Uganda, Build Uganda (BUBU) narrative.

During the launch of the report on EU/UNESCO film project that was held at Imperial Royale hotel on Wednesday, Mutuuzo said that Uganda is nolonger importing many clothes thanks Ugandan tailors.
“Of late when you go to the street, you realize that we are nolonger importing many clothes. The people are making them here and you cannot differentiate them from those that are being imported. We are promoting Uganda made.”
She further urged Ugandans to support local content in order to bridge the vast unemployment gap.
