Ugandan dance-themed movie “Dance Fest Ug is Slated to premiere on 27th May this year at Century Cinemax, Acacia Mall. With powerful dance moves and energetic twists, it brings back the memories of movies like “Feel The Beat”, “Stomp The Yard”, “Honey” and several others.

Its story is based on a true story of a child-headed family struggling with life’s basic needs that learns of an opportunity to participate in group dance competitions for which the prize money is a life-changing dream. In the competition, another group that is well equipped seeks to take the glory but can not beat the hungry poorly managed squad.
It brings to light new acts such as Mujuni Christopher Bruno, Igar Bashir, Don Zaabu, Dama Grail, Mukalazi Frank, Nsirikiddebingi Thomas, Jackson Nsanja, Nassande Eunice, Aine Teddy, Mbonye David, Kafuluma Peter. It was produced by Kabamba Brendah and directed by Mugabe Lawrence.
It was put up by the Dance Fest Ug Foundation which is part of the Glory of Christ Church Kawaala. It’s based on the annual dance completion called “Dance Fest Ug”.
