The director of Mityana institute of nursing and midwifery Mr. John kintu has cautioned the Muslim students to stop going against the institution laws if they are to find peace at the institution.

He says the school is a financial business not a religious training field.
His remarks came after some of the Muslim students went out of the institution premises to give a hand in wiring the mosque that was built near the institution for their daily prayers.
According to the Imam of nursing school who was precluded accessing the school before other students, he said that from the beginning it was hard to convince the director to build the mosque in the institution and he could only allow them pray only on Friday yet they have five daily obligatory prayers.
“We were forced to get the place around to construct a masjid to help Muslim students who had gone a mess” he said as he quoted Article 3(a) of the Mityana institute of nursing and midwifery constitution as well as the Ugandan constitution Article 37
The students that were chased from the institution premises according to the letters dated 6th September 2022 from the office of the institution principal madam Florence Nakyewa include; Kasozi Ibrahim a year three semester one student and Mugenyi Arafat a year Two semester 2 student.
The avouch to the suspended students is that they went out-side of the school premises without the consent of the ones concerned which is against the school rules and regulations and the fine for this was a measuring gauge, 10, 2, by 18 metres from roofings Uganda
Speaking to Ugabuzz, the two students revealed that they tried to ask for a pardon from director John but he failed to give them ears saying that there clerics had pumped them in a wrong way that goes against the school rules and regulations.
In a leaked voice call one of the students is trying to plead to the director to disregard knowing about the mosque being part of the institution and yet the students claims to have made the procedures of the construction from the institution.
“The director went ahead to say that the schools law can go against the right of worshiping even if the ministers interviene” said the student.
In the directors argument, he said that Muslim students must only get places of worship within schools premises because they are safe for them.
The director also said that with fair play of religious affiliation it can course noise pollution in the area which will affect the enthralled students .
“Its not only Muslim that have stopped accessing their prayers accordingly the born again Christians were also damaged by the same thing since there time of worship was limited.” He said
