The Newly elected Speaker for the 11th Parliament, Anita Among has rejected the office of her predecessor the late Jacob Oulanyah.
According to sources in parliament, Ms Among opts to keep her office on lower flow (5th flow) and let the Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa and other staff move to the 6th floor where the official office of the speaker is located.
The new speaker says, she is more comfortable in the Deputy Speaker’s office and that relocating to the 6th floor would resurrect her fond memories with Oulanyah.
