The ruling party in Uganda, National Resistance Movement (NRM) has embarked on a road to win back it’s political support in Buganda and Busoga regions.
This was revealed by the party’s treasurer, General Hon. Rose Namayanja during her appearance on a local radio on Friday.

She says that the secretariat under the able leadership of the secretary General Rt. Hon. Justine Kasule Lumumba has already conducted detailed research to establish the reasons behind the party’s poor performance in the two regions.
” The detailed field report will soon be presented to the Central Executive Committee (CEC) for further input and guidance before implementing the proposed strategies,” She said.
She further said that NRM’s poor performance in the presidential elections and the over 90% victory of the party’s parliamentary flag bearers in their respective constituencies is enough basis for finding the appropriate measures to ensure the return of the party’s massive victory in the subsequent elections to come.
Of the 105 Legislators in Buganda, NRM has over 45 elected MPs including leaning Independents.
