Musician Pius Mayanja aka Pallaso has once again scooped top awards at the 9th edition of ZZINA AWARDS.
In musical event that was hosted by Prim Asiimwe and Hellen Lukoma on Saturday night at Thobani Center, Pallaso was crowned both Artist of the year and Male artist of the year.
The fun filled event had performances from Feffe Buusi, Aroma, B2C, Kataleya & Kandle, Yo Kuki, Sama Soja Pallaso who started his session after he was crowned male artist of the year and Aziz Azion whose performance had most revelers dancing and singing along.
Aziz started his performance with feel better, one of his latest, followed it with Wampisa, oxygen, nkumira omukwano live guitar performance and crowned his presentation with Zino enaku, a tribute to Mozey Radio.
Mc Kats was awarded the Legend of the year Award while Peruth Chemutai received Sports Personality Of The Year.
Both Kats and Peruth’s accolades are not competed for but rather, the awards team chose the best candidate for the categories.

8. Best Contemporary Urban Artist – Liam Voice.
9. Best Contemporary Urban Song – Best Thing – Dre Cali.
10. Best Comedian – Maulana & Reign.
11. Best Fans Team – Fameicans.
12. Best Dancehall Song – Magazine.
13. Best Dancehall Artist – Zex Bilangilangi.
14. Best Lugaflow/Rap Artist – Feffe Buusi.
15. Best Luga flow/Rap Song – Lock – Fik Fameica.
16. Best Inspirational Song – Majje Fik Fameica ft Azawi.
