Luke identified a one Ibrah Jemba, a gang leader popular for using his rings on the knuckles to knock out his victims and cutting their faces before robbing them.

The territorial Police at Katwe has conducted an operation on Tuesday (Today) and arrested 13 criminal suspects, Police has confirmed.

Luke Oweyesigire, the Deputy Police Spokesperson in the Kampala Metropolitan has revealed that the operation was done to clamp down on criminality along the Clock Tower area.
“So far, 13 suspected criminals, who target motorists during traffic jam to snatch bags, phones, have been arrested.” He said
Among the arrested, Luke identified a one Ibrah Jemba, a ganga leader popular for using his rings on the knuckles to knock out his victims and cutting their faces before robbing them.
He further revealed that the culprits are currently detained at Katwe Police Station on allegations of being in possession of suspected narcotic substances and aggravated robbery. They will be processed and arraigned in courts of law.
