Police at Kabalagala has today arrested and detained Ismael Katerega, a resident of Masajja and a motorcyclist at Bikajjo stage Shauri Yako on operating past curfew hours and theft allegations.

According to deputy Police Spokesperson in Kampala Metropolitan area, Luke Oweyesigyire, officers that were operating during curfew time alleged that today at around midnight, while they were patrolling in areas of Munyonyo, the suspect was spotted with two other men on the motorcycle registration number: UFJ 375k at around Total petrol Station Munyonyo during curfew time.
“A pursuit ensued and he was arrested.However, two of his accomplices managed to flee. Efforts are underway to have them arrested.” Luke said.

Among the items Ismael was found with upon search were house breaking implements, a panga and a phone which he admitted to have stolen from some man around Kansanga on Wednesday Evening.
The suspect upon interrogation also disclosed that him together with his accomplices were on their way for a robbery mission.
Ismael is currently detained at Kabalagala Police Station as investigations continue.
