The Assistant Police Spokesperson in the Metropolitan area, Luke Oweyesigire has revealed that a team of Police Patrollers at Bunga intercepted a motor vehicle UAM 301Q that was reportedly carrying thugs who had broken into one of the shops in Bunga at about 0300hrs on Tuesday morning.
According to Police, the vehicle was given a chase forcing the occupants to abandon it.
“It was later searched and merchandise believed to have been stolen from the shops in Bunga was recovered. The hunt for the suspects who fled the scene is still on,” He revealed
Police has also cautioned the general public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious noises or occurrences in their areas of residence.
