Kibuli titular Muslim Leader prince Kasimu Nakibinge kakungulu has launched the fundraising drive estimated of 1.5 billions for the completion of the historical Mbogo Mosque in kawempe division, a Kampala surbub.

The historical mosque was first built in 1903 and Muslims embarked on it’s reconstruction early this year.

The Muslim fraternity and well wishers through Salam charity and next media handed over a cheque of 100millions. The attendees of the launch also managed to raise 60 million cash including one million from Kampala Lordmayor, Erias Lukwago.
“Its childish to leave such a Nobel cause to the Arabs, we can do it also, we are all entitled to give out…”. Prince Nakibinge said.
Lordmayor who attended the launch on prince’s invitation asked Muslims to keep Muslim properties intact.
“I feel hurt when our generation is selling Muslims properties yet our parents and grandparents fought to restore them …”Lukwago said.
He reported to the prince, a city tycoon Who took Aldinah Mosque and asked him to intervene in matter of Nateete mosque which hangs in balance.
He further prayed for fallen Muslim leader like Dr. Anus kalisa the founder of Muslim Salam charity and initiated the construction of mosques , Sheik Muzata a reknown as ‘LION OF MUSLIM’ an outspoken person. May Allah be pleased with them, he added
