Police has revealed that there was no shooting involved in the accident that happened at Jomayi Nantabulirwa on Dec 19 along the Kampala- Jinja highway which claimed the life of Patricia Nabugabo.

According to Police PRO for Public and Safety, ASP Faridah Nampiima, an unknown vehicle allegedly scratched the vehicle, registration number UBJ 255S T)Sienta (white in color) that belonged to Patricia Nabugabo and when she stopped and got out to check around her car, another an unknown vehicle knocked her to death.
“There was no shooting involved as alleged by various social media posts,” She stated
Adding that the territorial Police at Mukono is still investigating the investigating the case so that the perpetrators get to face the law.
“However, we have retrieved the CCTV footages and the hunt for the two drivers, the one that first scratched her vehicle and the one that knocked her dead is on.” She revealed
While Patricia’s lifeless body is currently at the city mortuary for postmortem, police has urged all road users to park at the road side when a similar challenge occurs to avoid the incidents like that of Jomayi from recurring.
Before the Police Statement, some eye witnesses had alleged that Patricia was deliberately murdered by armed escorts who were traveling in a numberless UPDF vehicle that’s was clearing the path of an unknown minister.
