Police at Old Kampala is holding two motorcyclists believed to have been involved a murder by mob that saw the death of Aziz Bashir, 40 on Sunday Morning at Mengo-Katale.

Luke Oweyesigyire the Deputy Police spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan area alleges that the deceased, while driving his motor vehicle UBK 393D clashed with unidentified motorcyclist who later left the scene and Bashir, in pursue of the unidentified rider knocked another one.
” He was involved in a minor accident with unidentified motorcycle rider. He got out of the vehicle, but failed to agree with the motorcycle rider,” Luke narrated
” It is from there that two motorcycles shielded the rider who was in involved in a traffic accident with Bashir. The rider left the scene, but in an effort of the deceased pursuing the alleged rider, he knocked another motorcycle rider,” Luke continued
After the second incident, a group of riders ganged up on him as he was approaching Lyn’s Primary school, pulled him out of the vehicle and beat him to death.
The body of the deceased was conveyed to city mortuary Mulago for a post mortem.
” The motorcycle involved in the accident UEJ 515k and the deceased’s motor vehicle were vandalized and are now parked at old Kampala Police.” He revealed
