Singer Evelyn Love had organized her maiden concert dubbed “An evening with Evelyn Dinner Concert”, which was slated for today at Muganzi Lwazza, but all went wrong when news circulated that the singer had fainted a few hours before the show.
Well, the singer cleared the air a few hours ago about why she fainted, claiming that she could not contain it when she was told that her concert had been canceled.
“When I went for the meeting to confirm my concert, I was told that it was not going to happen because we needed another sh.8m to pay for the venue…,” She said.
Moses Bbosa Sserunkuma, one of the directors of the Zubair Family in which Evelyn has been for ages, said that they didn’t expect the landlady to treat them like that after they had paid about sh.13m to her
“We had paid about sh.13m before and we thought it was all good. We were shocked to be told that we need to pay more sh.8m to organize the show and for this news, she had to faint.” Bbosa said.
